Leeds

Solace began in Leeds in 2006 and we are proud to have provided therapeutic support here since this time.

Although our service has grown over the years there is always more demand for our support than we can provide and so we have to make difficult decisions about how many referrals we can accept.

Our aim is to avoid anyone being on a waiting list without support for long periods of time. As we already have a number of people waiting for appointments we are not adding any more people to our list until the waiting time is reduced.

We appreciate that it is often difficult as professionals to find appropriate support for refugees and asylum seekers. We would like to help where we can and you may find our training useful, or our helpful resources section. If you would like to speak to us please get in touch and we will try to offer advice or information wherever we can.

For people who arrive as part of the resettlement programme we are still able to accept referrals for therapy. Please see the information about this on our UK Resettlement page and the Children and Families Wellbeing ProjectÂ
